Regular listeners will know Greg from the Malt of the Month series but in this episode, he’s the main feature! Over the past 13 or so years, Greg has worked with many whisky brands on branding and brand strategy. His new book takes the reader on a journey through different Scottish distilleries with many laughs and fun stories along the way – one includes a bit of a rubbish cat! To celebrate the launch of the book, Greg chose an 8 year old Ardmore single cask malt to produce a very limited number of bottles (299) which are available on the Great Drams website. There’s no Malt of the Month in this episode, instead it’s been replaced with a mini series all about whisky production. David Wood of Distilled Events kicks off the series by telling us all about the history of Scotch whisky and how it became the product it is today. In the episode, David mentions an exclusive trip he’s running to Islay for the Islay Whisky Festival 2018. If you fancy the whisky fan’s ultimate trip of a lifetime you can find the full details here. Enjoy the episode and we’ll see you in 2018.
