In this episode of The Country Gent podcast, we talk to the hugely talented sporting artist Coral Rose.
Growing up in Doncaster, Coral knew nothing about the countryside or fieldsports until she met her fiancé 8 years ago. Since then she’s immersed herself in it and is now a professional sporting artist.
We talk to Coral about some of her work, what life is like as a professional artist and what makes the countryside and fieldsports such interesting subjects.
We also chat about her first impressions of game shooting and her own shooting.
For those who aren’t familiar with her work, here are a few of our favourite examples:

The whisky featured in Malt of the Month is the Teapot Dram 5 by Glengoyne. This annual release is a distillery only edition so can only be purchased on the Glengoyne website.
The free resource mentioned in the podcast is the audio download of Greg telling us how to properly taste and appreciate whisky. This is a bonus not to be missed! You can get it here.
In the Monarch of the Month series, we continue going through the monarchs and pick up from the death of King Stephen when his nephew came to the throne as King Henry II.
Enjoy the show.
